We will never be wrong for choosing the mind over the belly, the long term over immediacy, depth over appearance; for looking at causes rather than symptoms, substance rather than surface.

Let us hold on.

For our conscience.

For history.

For our children.

For the real solutions this country still awaits.

Everything that has a beginning also has an end.

And when the dust finally settles, the future will confirm what we saw before others.
